Warm, welcoming and convenient, the Plainfield Country Store is located at the intersection of where travelers and locals meet, share stories and a few laughs.

We start the day with a fresh pot of coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, eggs and other specialties that are available to go or dine in the store. If homemade baked from scratch sounds good, then try our blueberry muffins, chocolate zucchini bread, cinnamon rolls, biscuits or, on Saturdays, the famous donuts. Come in and sit for a spell, or grab it to go. Either way, the Plainfield Country Store is the place to start a great day!

Breakfast is available: M-F 6am – 9:30am, Sat 6am – 11am, & Sun 7am to 11am. Baked goods, only available until they’re gone!

Eat Well, Eat Often! Lunch specials are available Monday through Friday plus also an assortment of meal items such as deviled eggs, potato salad, egg salad, broccoli salad, fruit salad, chicken salad, hummus, Thai peanut noodles, made to order pizza, apple glazed pork loin, BBQ chicken, lasagna, mac and cheese and pulled pork. Our deli case is well stocked with locally sourced meat, cheese, cold cuts, egg rolls and much more!

Warm, Cozy, and Fresh muffins, sweetbreads, donuts, bagels and biscuits. For later in the day we make pies, bread, and cookies. As they say, “Bakers gonna bake” and once we get rolling (get it, rolling?), a steady supply of assorted goodies are loaded into our display case and self-service cabinets. Please keep in mind, fresh, warm hand-crafted baked goods, are only available until they’re gone, and they go fast! That said, we are always happy to take orders for pick up.

Looking for Beer, Wine, Gifts or… What would a country store be without an eclectic mix of shelves filled with groceries, unique gifts, and beverages? Beyond the expected brands, we carry many locally raised and made products like meat, honey, bells, maple syrup, goat sausage, pottery, bread, salsa, textiles, milk, ice cream, and jams.

Our beer cooler and wine shelves boast a large variety to meet most, if not all tastes, flavors, and moods. We even have root beer from Australia; not so local, but so good!

Outside we have a Citgo gas station, an electric vehicle charging port, propane tank swap, ice, air, picnic tables, and a Little Library.
